Olympiazentrum- Munich
Built in occasion of the Olympic Games of 1972, the Olympic Park is almost 3 square kilometres big, and it has become one of the reference places of the life of Munich citizens. Its cutting-edge structures are often used to host rock concerts and sport events. Moreover, the swimming pool and the ice skating field are regularly open to the public. The most famous symbol of the park is the Olympiaturm, the Olympic tower, 290 metres high! If you don’t suffer from vertigo you might want to climb the top and enjoy the fantastic view looking over the city.
Inside the park, plunged in the green, there is a small artificial lake, with ducks and swans. In summer, this place attracts many young people, who organize every kind of event.
